Elvet Mittens

Whether you are out on a hill side or foraging in the woods, or on the computer in a chilly office, these will keep your hands warm and cosy and mobile.

Using this cloth, woven on historic looms from British wool yarns, is supporting the massive restoration of Elvet Woollen Mill. Tucked into the Cothi Valley, Carmarthenshire, Elvet is one of only 7 working woollen mills left in Wales and a vital part of the mission to preserve the textile heritage of Wales.

Each pair of Elvet Mittens, lined with cosy, brushed organic cotton, is made by hand in our cloth studio. We make them in three sizes;

As as guide, measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles (keeping it flat and relaxed)

Small will fit 18cm to 19cm - Medium will fit 19.5cm to 20.5cm - Large will fit 21 to 22cm
