Embroidered Porthleven Lampshade

A freehand machine embroidered Porthleven lampshade. A neutral colour felt background using the colour stitch of your choice to stitch the Porthleven scene of Bay View Terrace and the Clock Tower.

Porthleven is a beautiful fishing village in Cornwall and I have stitched my interpretation of this iconic scene which has not changed for generations.

I draw using my sewing machine, this is a freehand machine embroidered piece, although I work from a template design at the beginning each piece is individually created and unique.

Each lampshade has my unique machine embroidered signature on the design.
