Organic Textured Sterling Silver Cast Boulder Ring

This Organic Textured Sterling Silver Cast Boulder Ring was inspired by the big imposing rocks and boulders on the beaches here in West Cornwall.  The ring has the natural, rugged texture of boulders carved into it, giving it a raw look & feel that is also very tactile. 

The ring is firstly carved in wax, a slow but mindful process, creating the rocky texture once the ring is shaped.  It’s then cast into recycled sterling silver using the time-honoured technique of lost wax casting.  The wax ring is lost during this process, ensuring each ring is unique and individual to its owner.
